Hiking The Pacific Crest Trail

Once one has hiked the entirety of the Appalachian Trail, what does one do next? Well, you head west of course! Don and Bill walk through the logistics of planning to hike the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) with Rich Daileader who has hiked both famed routes. The PCT, at over 2,600 miles long, spans the western United States from Canada to Mexico and is a great way to see the country. Rich explains the differences between the two trails as well as why the PCT requires a permit that limits the trail’s activity to 3,000 people. The Outdoor Guys also explore ‘what is trail magic’ and ‘what kind of trail magic did Rich experience?’ Well, you’ll just have to listen to find out!
