It’s the opening day of Trout Season and the Carolina Outdoors is covering this great tradition. However it is also the start of the Striper Run that is beginning on the Roanoke River near Weldon, NC. Matthew Wallin works with the Coastal Conservation Association- North Carolina (CCA-NC). He comes onto the program with host Bill Bartee & gives us an update.
