Little League World Series grounds with Lee Clinton

On this addition of the Carolina Outdoors sponsored by Jesse Brown’s we’re saying hello to the upcoming new season (see Langston Wertz, Jr. Segment about High School football) but there is a completion of a season that is taking place in South Williamsport, PA.  Teams from around the country & around the world descend on this Pennsylvania town to participate in the Little League World Series.  Teams include Japan & Latin America plus the regional representatives from the United States.

Carolina Outdoor host, Bill Bartee, speaks with Lee Clinton. Clinton runs Clinton Farms & takes care of the property, turf and fields of Clover School District #2, in Clover, SC, but heads to PA to manage the famed fields in South Williamsport for a week in August.

Things You’ll Learn by Listening:

What is the difference between scrapple and liver mush? Livermush is a popular Southern breakfast or lunch dish.  Many say that it is one of the first pork foods made in America.
Scrapple comes from the farms of Pennsylvania.  The word scrapple originated from “scrap” and consisted of ground leftover pig scraps that were boiled and then combined with cornmeal and other spices.
Livermush is composed of pig liver, other parts & cornmeal mixed with spices.

The Carolina Outdoors is powered by the tailgate brands like Tundra 45 YETI, Turtlebox Speakers, & a pair of Duckhead pants from the  Charlotte fly shop, Jesse Brown’s.
