Massive Wildfires in have been contained in Western North Carolina. Residents have been able to return home.
One home was damaged and several outbuildings were destroyed in the 250 acre + in the Bat Cave and Old Fort areas. The fire came from dryness in the tinder from dead trees, brush, and debris.
