Outward Bound

Outward Bound and its beginnings were in increasing the lifespan of British seaman fighting in World War II, whose ships had been torpedoed.  Since then it has expanded and become one of the leaders in progressive education in the world.  Gordon Grant, the Education Director at one of the largest & most successful OB schools, NCOBS, talks about the heritage, the process & the mainstreaming of experiential education & the wide variety of people that participate in it.
