It’s a 5th generation family-owned farm that specializes in fresh fruits & vegetables but also acts as a special event venue, escape for those looking to be outdoors, & has one of the most beautiful swimming quarries in the Carolinas. Owner Doug Carrigan shares his ever-evolving passion of bring the farm to the public & specializing in fun. He speaks on the educational opportunities that occur with school tours & field trips. Here they learn about honey bees, crops, food production, & eating it.
Carrigan returned to the farm after graduatiing from NC State in 1975. The Carrigan children & grandchildren are a part of the farm now.
