Thank you to our guests Ray Matthews & Captain Dave Chouinard for joining host, Bill Bartee, on the Carolina Outdoors.

Father’s Day is upcoming & Father’s Day gifts in Charlotte are becoming more important that ever.
Heed Matthews’ call to spend time with your kids.  Stop by the fly shop of Charlotte, Jesse Brown’s, to help find the right one.

It is tarpon season in Mexico, the Bahamas, & domestically, in Florida.  Captain Dave Chouinard returns to the Carolina Outdoors for a breakdown in sport & the fish.  Note that most anglers are using 9′ 11 weights or 9′ 12 weight fly rods.  Also note that Chouinard stated that the best way to fish for the silver kings is with a fly rod.

Remember, it is National Trails Day.  Celebrate it with a hike around your neighborhood, state park, national forest or park.

Remember to take a water bottle (full of water) & wear proper walking shoes.

Plus, remember to make the Carolina Outdoors better than you found it…& pick up your trash.
