(From The 12/12/20 Show) In 1954 Marilyn Monroe married Joe DiMaggio in New York City; Elvis Presley recorded his first single with Sun Records, “It’s All Right”, in Memphis, TN; and Dick Roberts, along with three other Pharr Yarn employees decided to “spruce up their town” for Christmas.
Sixty-six years later, that “town” is known as “ChristmasTown, USA” & hundreds of thousands of people and cars travel through McAdenville to view the legacy of the special players that made it possible.
