The Foothills Trail



(From The 12/19/2020 Program) Meandering along the North and South Carolina borders is a national recreational foot path.  It first began in the 1960’s by enthusiasts and his now become a beauty of the country.  The Foothill Trail is a 77- mile gem that connects state parks, waterfalls & a beautiful lake together.  The advocacy group, the Foothills Trail Conservancy & its director, Heyward Douglass, join the Carolina Outdoor program to talk hiking & the reason this place is special.
