The Catawba Riverkeeper is the non-profit advocate for the “hardest working river in America”: the Catawba/Wateree River Basin.
8,900 miles of water is under their coverage with 3 million residents living in the 26-counties that are included.
In order to keep people close to the water they sponsor trips, camps, clean ups from the mountains to Congaree National Park & the Executive Director, John Searby, joins the Carolina Outdoors for this educational segment.
