Brian Hester, artist & founder of the Hooked Fly Co. joined Carolina Outdoor host, Bill Bartee, to talk about growing up in the mountains of North Carolina. It was near Boone, that he “stole” his father’s fly rod & reel (Brian said he just “borrowed it, indefinitely). He’s a thirty-year educator in public schools but he’s also a sculpture, painter, & author.

- Hester will paint a large scale canvas, Live in front of an audience to raise money for Rocky River Trout Unlimited RRTU
