There is a quote in a documentary, created in Charlotte: “Good Music & A Good Place to play it…bring people together.”
The Executive Producer of that documentary, Jay Ahuja, Ahuja Daddy Productions, was one of the creators of the documentary, Live From the Double Door. The Double Door Tavern opened in December of 1973 at 216 E. Independence here in CLT. This was right around the corner from the local outdoor store that had just recently opened called Jesse Brown’s.
