(From 10.08.22, Segment 2)
Outdoor Guys Bill & Wes recently went ‘Over The Edge’ at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Charlotte, as they rappelled down the side of the building, raising money alongside the NASCAR Hall Of Fame Foundation to help benefit local STEM educational programs. The Jesse Brown’s Outdoors Team also demonstrated casting techniques and the art of fly-fishing (while on the ground!) on the NASCAR Plaza to students, some of whom, undoubtedly, had never fished before and must have had a little fear or trepidation.
Thus begs the question, “Is having some fear a requirement in order to be able to adventure?” A little fear IS healthy and completely normal, and overcoming fear to enjoy being outdoors and adventuring is a challenge worth undertaking!
Continue to listen in after this discussion to hear Jesse Brown’s Outdoors’ Lead Fishing Guide Dave Bergman further break down the “Cheating At The (Fishing) Scales!” news out of Cleveland, Ohio! This conversation is a continuation from Segment 1.
