The entrance into a new year opens up a lot of new things for the Carolina Outdoors. However, at the same time, it means that there are several things that are recognized as a tradition.
One of them is the KASK Winter Short Track Series presented by Audi Charlotte & 76. This series has been going on for over twenty years
Neal Boyd, founder & promoter, joins host Bill Bartee from Jesse Brown’s to talk about the race series.
THINGS WE LEARN:
- The track is made so that the race occurs rain or shine
- The first race had over 400 people that raced
- Food Trucks and music are included
- The Race Series occurs at Riverwalk Park in Rock Hill, SC, but pulls from Charlotte & across the Carolinas.
- The Team competition has grown
- Free Beer for those Over 21.
